Our country, India, is in dire crises as the coronavirus has engulfed the land. Sickness and death are exploding across the nation- a catastrophe of unimaginable proportion.
The hospitals are swamped. Indians are dying in the streets struggling for breath, as the overcrowded hospitals are turning the patients away. Life-saving oxygen is scarce. Crematoriums are overrun, as each day, thousands of bodies burn, the parking area and even roads have doubled up as cremation grounds. It is a heartwrenching, disturbing, agonizing, and tragic sight!
The government very often abandons its citizens to fend for themselves and is slow to wake up to the calamity. There is no dearth of good samaritans and NGOs who rally around to help the sick and bury the abandoned bodies. God bless their kind and selfless souls.
We lift up our hearts in prayer, for the physically sick and the emotionally desperate, for relief.
God, Heal our gasping nation!
The Bible says....
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
Please pray for our country and all the countries that are affected by Covid. Let us all uphold each other in prayers. Thank you.
