Very often we make beautiful plans which we think are perfect. But they do not materialize. Likewise, our big hopes and dreams are also at a standstill mode.
It is a reminder that we are not in control.
The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps”~ Proverbs 16:9
That’s when we need to wait because God says “wait.” We don’t understand why we have to wait…we want it NOW.
We may never know why God says “wait.” We simply have to trust that when God says wait, He has His reasons.
The waiting period is very tough and negative emotions like frustration, anxiety, and anger take over.
So, what should we do in the waiting period? PRAY and READ the word of God.
Automatically our trust and faith in God are strengthened. Then, we are able to wait patiently for God’s will and His timing.
God uses the waiting period to mold us.

“But not only that! We even take pride in our problems, because we know that trouble produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope. This hope doesn’t put us to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.” ~Romans 5:3-5
We don’t HAVE to understand or NEED to know why God says wait.
Sometimes it may appear to be late, but it will happen in God’s perfect timing. Other times we may not get what we want. Maybe it is not God’s Will.
It is enough for us to understand that God knows what is best for us because He knows all of the avenues that affect us.
May God give you the strength to persevere as you wait!
